Ouranopithecus' ten-track Anarchotribal is out with BlackBox Records, carrying the Athens trio's psychedelic and punk influences.
Ouranopithecus released Anarchotribal on June 6, 2026 with BlackBox Records. The ten-track album is available digitally on Bandcamp; Vinyl is the label edition.

The album features music by Ouranopithecus and lyrics by Zon Pletsis: Mario on drums and backing vocals, Jack on bass, and Zon Pletsis on guitar and vocals. Nina Politimou and Marianna Tzaneti appear on “Bad.”
Recorded at Atavo and Buduzi Studios, Anarchotribal was produced by Ouranopithecus and Marios Adamopoulos. Adamopoulos co-engineered, recorded the bass, guitar, and vocals, and mixed the album. Kostas Ragiadakos engineered the drum recording and mastered it at TheAudioCult. Voltas and Ouranopithecus made the artwork from original front and back cover photographs by Edward S. Curtis.
