I went to the mountain

I WENT TO THE MOUNTAIN is a synthesis of perspectives on the stylistic paths the band could have taken after the release of La Vale, in 2022. Two years and an ever more apparent inclination towards a barefaced, riff-led take on the music they love have led them to this record.

An old desire to expand on the more progressive aspects of their sound reemerged in the early stages of songwriting. As the process went on, the material revealed an ever more discernible stylistic tendency towards post-metal, as well as the integration of stoner elements.

To reach the final shape of this album, several records’ worth of material was scrapped during a grueling selection process, as they continued to push themselves to reach a musical form perceived as exerting a power of its own.

They try to be defiant in their conviction that there is yet more experimental rock and metal to be written and performed, and strive to deliver a hard-hitting and articulate iteration thereof.

To like this kind of music, one has to love it - the same applies to playing it. This album is a tribute to all of their favorite bands, who inspired them to step out from the crowd and onto the stage.
